Wedding Dress

Hi Titas!

The wedding dress is the most important thing for a bride. The dress will speak without you saying a word. Fortunately, there are countless options for every bride but everything will depend on the budget and the style you are looking for.

In my case, I was going to pay for my dress, so my budget was $ 1,000. I knew what I DIDN’T want, and it was a ball gown (Cinderella), long sleeves and a lot of lace. My wedding was on the beach and that was a determining factor.

I tried on many dresses, I think more than 20. I liked some of them, others were horrible, but none gave me the “feeling”.

There was one that I tried, that I LOVED. It was different, it had the princess vibe, which is not very much my style. BUT It was way over my budget, for almost $ 1,000.

As much as I liked it, I left it. It is important that when making this purchase, you go with a clear understanding of your limitations. I knew I couldn’t afford it before trying it on, but if you think your emotions are going to lead the way, please, be very straightforward with the stylist from the store so she only shows you what you really can buy.

As I mentioned, my budget was $ 1,000 or less, and although it seems like a high number, when buying wedding dresses, the options are limited, since they are really expensive.

In the last boutique of the day, I tried on a dress, looked at the mirror, and the feeling was instantaneous. My eyes were watery, my heart was pounding fast and I just felt it that it was the one. As soon as my mother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law saw me, they felt the same. And there, at that moment I knew it was mine.

Let’s talk about all the odds. This was the only dress and it was my size. It was in perfect condition and fit me like a glove, but the best part? THE PRICE! The original price was $1,700, but I only paid $800 . The store is CC Bridal Boutique (Sale Rack) in Tampa, FL.

So Tita, as you can see, you can get the dress of your dreams, with the budget you have. Just keep in mind that you have to be patient, and have a clear understanding of what you want and the limitations, so you can buy with your heart, with no regrets.
